PRIVACY POLICY
Effective Date: October 28, 2025
We value your privacy and want you to feel confident in how we handle your information. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.
1. Information We Collect
When you engage with NOVA by Vireo, we collect information in a few ways: directly from you, automatically through your device, and from partners or institutions that help deliver our services.
You provide information when you create an account, enroll in a course, subscribe to updates, or contact support. This may include your name, email, role, or organization. If you make a purchase, payment details are processed securely by our payment providers — we never store your full financial information.
We also collect technical data (like IP address, browser type, or course activity) to help us improve performance, personalize recommendations, and keep your learning experience secure.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to deliver, maintain, and improve our learning services. This includes creating and managing your account, tracking progress, generating certificates, and tailoring course recommendations.
We may use aggregated, anonymized data to understand trends, improve course design, or measure engagement — but we never sell personal data. Any analytics we share with instructors or institutions are stripped of identifying details.
We may also contact you occasionally with updates about new courses, platform improvements, or learning opportunities. You can opt out of marketing emails anytime.
3. Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small data files that help websites remember you. We use them to keep you logged in, save preferences, and analyze usage patterns. This helps us continuously refine NOVA’s design and content.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the Platform may not function properly. We also use reputable analytics providers that adhere to strong data privacy standards.
4. Sharing and Disclosure
We respect your trust and handle your information responsibly. We may share limited data with:
Service providers that support hosting, analytics, or email communications.
Partner institutions (e.g., your employer or university) if your account is linked through a license.
Regulatory authorities when legally required or to protect rights and safety.
We never sell or rent your personal data. Any data shared is limited to what is necessary to operate or improve the Platform.
5. International Data Transfers
Our servers and providers are based primarily in the United States. If you access NOVA from outside the U.S., your data may be transferred across borders.
We apply standard contractual clauses and appropriate safeguards in accordance with GDPR and other international data protection laws to ensure that your information remains secure, wherever it’s processed.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law. When no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymized.
If your access comes through an organization, data retention may also follow that institution’s policy.
7. Security
We employ encryption, secure servers, and restricted access to protect your data. While no system can guarantee absolute security, we work continuously to strengthen our safeguards and monitor for potential vulnerabilities.
You can help protect your account by using strong passwords and logging out from shared devices.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data. You may also object to certain processing or request data portability.
To exercise these rights, please contact us at privacy@novabyvireo.com. We review and respond to all legitimate requests within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law.
9. Children’s Privacy
NOVA is designed for professionals and learners aged 16 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a child has provided information, please notify us and we will remove it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted with a new effective date at the top of this page. Substantive changes will be communicated clearly through the Platform or via email.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
Effective Date: October 28, 2025
Welcome to NOVA by Vireo. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) explain the rules and expectations that govern your use of our website, platform, and courses (collectively, the “Platform”). Please take a moment to read them carefully. By accessing or using NOVA by Vireo, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, we kindly ask that you refrain from using our services.
We built NOVA to make learning inspiring, measurable, and beautifully simple. Our goal is to create an environment where professionals, organizations, and educators can access meaningful knowledge while respecting privacy, intellectual property, and good faith use.
1. Overview and Acceptance
NOVA by Vireo (“we,” “our,” or “us”) offers digital educational content, video courses, and learning experiences designed for professional development. These Terms apply to everyone who accesses our website or platform — whether as an individual learner, institutional partner, or visitor.
By continuing to use NOVA by Vireo, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms, and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect improvements to our Platform or changes in law. The most recent version will always be available here, with the effective date clearly stated at the top.
2. Eligibility and Account Creation
You must be at least sixteen (16) years old, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, to use NOVA by Vireo. Creating an account requires accurate information, including a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities occurring under your account.
If we believe that an account has been created with false information or used in a way that violates these Terms, we may suspend or terminate it without notice. Please ensure your information is accurate so that we can maintain the integrity of our learning community.
3. License and Permitted Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the Platform and its content for your personal, professional, or organizational learning. This license allows you to view, stream, and interact with the courses, but it does not grant ownership or the right to redistribute materials.
You may not reproduce, republish, copy, sell, or otherwise exploit any content on NOVA by Vireo without prior written permission. Similarly, you may not use automated tools, reverse engineering, or data mining to extract materials from our system. We protect our instructors’ and creators’ intellectual property so that innovation and creativity can thrive.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
All content on the NOVA platform — including videos, images, text, trademarks, graphics, course titles, and logos — belongs to NOVA by Vireo or its licensed contributors. This content is protected by global copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
We love collaboration, but using our content without permission, altering branding, or reproducing course materials is prohibited. You may, however, share links to public pages or official course previews for educational or promotional purposes, provided they are not misleading or commercialized.
5. Payment and Subscriptions
Certain courses, memberships, or enterprise licenses may require payment. When you make a purchase, you agree to provide accurate billing information and authorize us or our payment processor to charge your chosen method of payment.
Pricing may vary based on region or promotional offers. All fees are stated in U.S. dollars unless otherwise noted. Refunds, when offered, follow the terms presented at checkout. We reserve the right to change pricing or modify our offerings to ensure fair and sustainable access to learning.
6. Third-Party Tools and Services
Our Platform may integrate with third-party tools — such as payment processors, learning management systems (LMS), analytics dashboards, or communication platforms. While these tools enhance your learning experience, we are not responsible for the privacy practices or performance of third-party services.
If you connect NOVA to an external system, such as your employer’s HR platform, you are authorizing limited data exchange solely for the purpose of enabling those features. We work only with trusted vendors who meet strong data protection standards.
7. User Submissions and Feedback
We welcome your feedback and ideas. If you share suggestions, testimonials, or creative input, you agree that we may use that feedback to improve our services without obligation or compensation. This helps us evolve quickly while staying aligned with the needs of our learners.
If you upload or submit materials (for example, comments or portfolio work in a collaborative session), you retain ownership of your content but grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and reproduce it for educational or promotional purposes.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
NOVA by Vireo is built with care and precision, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, absolute accuracy, or error-free performance. All content is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind — expressed or implied.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NOVA by Vireo will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. By using NOVA, you accept that learning is a personal journey — and we are here to support it, not to guarantee specific outcomes.
9. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless NOVA by Vireo and its affiliates, partners, directors, and contributors from any claims or damages arising from your misuse of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
We aim to maintain a positive and ethical community for all learners, instructors, and partners.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be handled exclusively in the state or federal courts of Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
If you access the Platform from outside the United States, you do so at your own risk and are responsible for local compliance.
11. Arbitration and Dispute Resolution
To the fullest extent permitted by law, any dispute arising from these Terms or the use of the Platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), in Los Angeles, California. The arbitrator’s decision will be final, and both parties waive the right to trial by jury or class action.
We believe in resolving issues efficiently, respectfully, and privately. NOVA retains the right to seek injunctive relief in court to protect its intellectual property or confidential materials.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or misuse the Platform. You may also stop using NOVA at any time. Certain obligations, such as intellectual property and dispute clauses, will continue to apply after termination.
